    The next telescope next to Hubble is the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT) in Palomar california

    @Oishasan
    I just gave you the hint, what can say all about it.
    I bet on this you, even paying billions of dollars as a tax payer, if one150 miles across asteriod approaches to our Earth, this NASA can do nothing to stop our Earth from the impact. But i can do one easy job just to capture and send its LIVE picutures/movies to us with only WARNING!!!

    WOWWWWWWWWWWWW good contribution!

    @droppermyth1 Anyway, I’m not going to reply your comment anymore since this ‘conversation’ can serve no more purpose. If you really think you’re right, go for it and have fun. No matter how many comments you post, the funding for science will never be stopped and scienctists will keep studying the universe while you sit here attacking what you don’t even know. =)

    @droppermyth1 *laugh* your comments/questions are getting more and more ridiculous. Nobody says E=mc^2 or atomic reaction proof is available in only textbooks and in secret laboratorioes. If you master enough skills in physics and math and have enough money to build your own laboratories with necessary equipments, who’s gonna stop you from proving it? Your only purpose here is to impugn what you don’t evenknow what it is and attack your unfavorable organization.

    @Oishasan
    lets change the topic for once for all. If E=mc^2 or atomic reaction proof is available in only textbooks and in secret laboratories, then what is the reason of make this astronomers universe related information that is available to all PUBLIC ?

    Does this knowledage has no value or is that cheap? NASA is trying to collect funds by fooling the world on space charming. NASA is just acting like a hollywood industry who is making money for other hidden purposes!!!!

    @droppermyth1 “As observations keep on going and astronomers explore more of our universe, the number of galaxies detected will increase.”

    And.. droppermyth1 your comment is getting off topic which shows the sign of your losing argument. If you need to find the prove of E=mc^2, try some textbooks =)

    @droppermyth1 “For example, in 1999 the Hubble Space Telescope estimated that there were 125 billion galaxies in the universe, and recently with the new camera HST has observed 3,000 visible galaxies, which is twice as much as they observed before with the old camera. We’re emphasizing “visible” because observations with radio telescopes, infrared cameras, x-ray cameras, etc. would detect other galaxies that are not detected by Hubble.”

    @droppermyth1 WHICH ONE IS CORRECT? typical question =) here’s the answer propsed by astrophysicists from NASA –> “The methods used to achieve such number varies, and therefore, the results would vary, too. Also, as new and improved technology becomes available, astronomers can detect fainter objects that were not seen before. These objects that have come into view will in turn change the estimated number of galaxies. “

    Oh really ? can you prove it, please prove it in your laborartory the below mentioned equation. Also share with us your findings!!!!!
    Ec=mc(square)

    @droppermyth1
    claiming for a figure e.g. 100 billion of galaxies that do exist in our universe is very tasking fact!! Also it is not a small number that one can think. If i claim there are less than 800 million of galaxies. WHICH ONE IS CORRECT? the answer is no one can exactly count the galaxies!

    So, it is all in approximation & could be 100% wrong! As a student of Science, I only understand 1+1=2

    @droppermyth1 @droppermyth1 In science, “these two terms” are totally depended on “experiments and observations”. AND FOR my information these “experiments and observations” are POSSIBLE to be generated. If you just stop on that definition and think for a second, that we are able to conduct “experiments & observations” so that these “predictions and results” could be correct.
    DON’T YOU GOT THAT?

    @Oishasan
    let i tell you what are yours “assumption” & “probability” that now science uses for the prediction and esitmated results. These two terms are totally depended on the real-random numbers (real time events). AND FOR your information these real random numbers are IMPOSIBLE to be generated. If you just stop on that defintion and think for a second, if we are never able to produce real-random numbers then how come these predictions and results could be correct!!!!

    YOU GOT THAT?

    @droppermyth1 one more thing, do not underestimate the efficiency of “assumption” & “probability”. For instance, nowadays, the very true figure of atom is still questioned, and yet we can use “assumption” & “probability” ,base on observations and experiments, of atom to “predict” many natural phenomena or “propose” many useful theories.

    @droppermyth1 And, ‘how many people do think, this is a solid information ?’ well… i sure bet more than 90% of physicists, astronauts, scienctists, astronomers and humans who dwell on this Earth do. The question is ‘How many people do think, this is not a solid information?’

    @droppermyth1 i’ll repeat it again ‘eso8807,one of millions of millions of those? very distant stars, is about 5 billions light years away from our Earth and this ex-star was observed in August 9, 1988.’ Since we can observed the picture of this exploding star, it surely means light can travel billions of years away from its source.

    @Oishasan

    I dont still agree with you. Please dont confuse me on calling them those are facts, if you re-run all the above posted clips from NASA , you will get the answers yourself that the information & commentary is 80% based on “assumption” & on “probability” which is not acceptable!
    ————
    Just consider their statement, “There are over 100 billion galaxies that exist in the universe” < ----- how many people do think, this is a solid information ?

    Thats my point!

    @droppermyth1 self confidence much? its a fact, not a statement. if you want to object anything which has already been proven by physicists, make sure you’ve got PhD in physics or more. oh.. and. eso8807,one of millions of millions of those very distant stars, is about 5 billions light years away from our Earth and this ex-star was observed in August 9, 1988. When was the last time you read about sciences?
