Oregon Scientific Crystal Weather Station Review
Review of Oregon Scientific Crystal Weather Station.
Price: 99.95 USD
Manufacturer: Oregon Scientific
Oregon Scientific Crystal Weather Station – Product Warranty:
Type of Product: Weather & Time > Wireless Weather Stations
If only the TV weatherman were this clear and concise. This eye-catching weather station features a crystal block with laser-engraved 3-D icons representing the Sun, clouds, and rain. One of them will be illuminated at any given time, with light projected from the base, to indicate the weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours. Each icon illuminates in a different color – red for sunny, blue for cloudy, and green for rainy – revealing the weather status at a glance, even from across the room. The midnight-black base displays LED time and indoor temperature readings, which can be set to alternate automatically or with a wave of your hand over the built-in infrared sensor. It plugs into any 110-volt wall outlet with the included AC adapter. If you want the dew point and an animated satellite image and the pollen index and a five-day forecast, all served up by a talking head, grab a TV dinner and turn on the Weather Channel. But if you’d prefer an elegantly simple, high-tech home weather station that’s also a classy conversation piece, get the Oregon Scientific Crystal Weather Station. Dimensions: 7″ x 4.5″ x 1.5″
