Orion ED100 100mm f/9 Apo Refractor Telescope – Product Warranty: One year
Product Type: Telescopes > Optical Tubes
You could pay $2,500 on up for a premium 4″ refractor from one of those “boutique” telescope outfits. But here’s something more practical. The Orion 10mm ED Apo is the most jaw-dropping value in high-end refractors ever offered. It delivers images remarkably free of chromatic aberration, thanks to its fully multi-coated 100mm objective doublet. It’s crafted with one element of FPL-53 extra-low dispersion “ED” optical glass from Japan. The 100mm aperture gives it 56% greater light grasp than our ED80. And the 900mm focal length (f/9.0) is ideal for visual planetary and lunar study and excels for imaging work as well. Join the revolution in affordable apochromatic refractors. You’ll save big and still enjoy the amazing image quality that only an apochromatic refractor can produce.

Orion Premium 190mm f/5.3 Mak-Newt Astrograph Telescope – Product Warranty: One year
Type of Product: Telescopes > Optical Tubes
Now our 190mm Maksutov-Newtonian Astrograph is even better equipped to let you capture the majesty of the night-sky. With enhanced features including a smooth new dual-speed (11:1) Crayford focuser, a larger 64mm secondary mirror, and slippage-free primary mirror and meniscus lens support systems, this is truly a scope for the ages. Our improved 190 “Mak-Newt” Astrograph Telescope, with complete flat-field, coma-suppressed optics, will deliver stunningly crisp and colorful images of deep-sky phenomena to the eyepiece. From there, an all-machined dual-speed 2″ Crayford-style focuser with 11:1 fine focus control will provide smooth motion and secure support for cameras and other heavy visual accessories. The focuser includes 2″ and 1.25″ compression ring adapters. A T-thread adapter for direct attachment of a camera body (may require appropriate T-ring, sold separately) to the telescope’s focuser, is also included. The diameter of the secondary mirror has been enlarged from 58mm to 64mm, substantially increasing the field illumination to take full advantage of larger CCD chips, found in DSLR cameras and the Orion StarShoot Pro. The 100% fully illuminated field diameter increases from 14mm to over 22mm, producing brighter images with less vignetting. “Push the envelope” of your own imaging capabilities – affordably – with the improved Orion Premium 190mm Mak-Newt Astrograph Telescope. Optical tube only. One-year limited warranty
